IMPORTANT:
You need a Bluetooth enabled computer with Microsoft Windows XP or Vista in order to update your EGO Bluetooth Hands-Free Car Kit.
We recommend the JWIN JB-TH101 Bluetooth dongle found here if your computer does not have Bluetooth built in. If your computer has Bluetooth already built-in, please disregard this note.

Please follow these steps to update your EGO FLASH and EGO LOOK:

1. Please turn on your EGO FLASH or EGO LOOK
2. Go to "Settings" --> "Information"
3. Scroll down to “SW Version:”
   
   >> If the version is lower than 9.0.10774, please download the latest EGO software here and follow the instructions.
   
   >> If the version is 9.0.10774 or higher, your EGO is up to date.
   
   >> If you specifically need athe older version 8.10.10142, then you can download that version of  EGO software here and follow the instructions.

Warning! Once updated to firmware 9.0+, there is no going back to the previous firmware. This update is primarily a fix for iPhone and Blackberry Bold phones. Some models of phones  with bluetooth profile 2.1 may have issues of compatibility. It is suggested that version 8.10 be used for phones other than the iPhone and Blackberry Bold at this time.
